Your AAAS ID is your single sign on across AAAS/Science platforms. To log in to Science.org please use your AAAS ID (email address) and password. If you are unsure what your AAAS ID is you can look it up here.
My Account on Science is an online portal where users can manage their email preferences, alerts and citations, bookmarks, and saved searches as well as view their access entitlements on the Science site.
My Profile is self-service online portal, enabling users with AAAS IDs to update and manage their account information themselves; resetting passwords, updating contact and address information, and more.
As a New User you gain access to select free Science content. If you would like to create a AAAS ID and get access click here.

There are two ways to download an article as a PDF:
Click the PDF icon that looks like a piece of paper to the top right of the article.

The second way to download an article is to click the “View Options” icon that looks like an eye in the navigator tool to the right of the article. If you do not see the “View Options” icon please check to see if you are logged in.

Next click the “Download PDF” button.

To print an article first click the PDF icon to the top right of the article.

Next click the “More” icon that looks like three dots in the top right corner.

Next click the “Print document” dropdown.

Finally click the “Print” button.

To add an article to your Citation Alerts click the notification bell at the top of an article. You can access your Citation Alerts in your My Account here.

To bookmark an article select the bookmark icon at the top right of the article. You can access your Bookmarks in your My Account here.

To cite an article click the quotation mark icon to the top right of the article.

Then select the format of your choice and export the citation.

To download a PDF click the PDF icon that looks like a piece of paper to the top right of the article.

Next click the download icon that looks like an arrow in the top right corner.

To the right of an article, Science has a new navigator tool for ease of use. Below describes what each icon does:








For immediate access to the article of interest, please locate the article (Search Here), then click on the article title link. If you are not a member or your membership doesn't include access to the specific journal, please select the "Get Access" button at the top of the article then select “purchase digital access to this article”. The current cost for this service is US $30.00, which will give you 24-hour access to the resource. If your AAAS membership includes a subscription to Science and/or any of the other Science family journals (Science Translational Medicine, Science Signaling, Science Immunology, Science Robotics) you have access to all Science articles, as well as the articles to any of the journals to which you subscribe. Science Advances is an open-access journal and membership/subscription is not required.
